Director's Note

“Tarantula” is a film about protection. The story takes place in a distant mansion where two children and their religious mother live. The absence of the father figure has been felt for some time, and the arrival of a new member disrupts the silence of this bucolic environment.

Feeling threatened, the older sister schemes to restore things to how they were before. Walking a fine line between naturalistic horror and drama, the story unfolds around this feminine universe.
