In a small rural village in southern Brazil live Ricardo and Nica, two displaced 17-year-olds. Their routine changes radically after Ricardo’s mother shifts her hip and even knowing that Nica is her husband’s mistress, asks her to move to the family home so she can take care of her. Despite the initial discomfort, the adolescents approach and create a strong relationship of complicity. As the friendship between them grows, Ricardo and Nica will have to decide if they want to be part of this new family structure or if they will go beyond what this place proposes.
