Após a perda da esposa Ana, Fernando torna-se um homem quieto que cuida do filho Daniel. Toda noite relembra a esposa organizando seus pertences — até descobrir uma fita que mudará sua vida.
Loneliness, melancholy, jealousy – universal and timeless emotions, fundamental words for fully embracing human nature. These are the themes to be explored in this romantic thriller. Traditionally, every emotional relationship is built on the interplay of what is said and what is left unsaid. Lovers reveal themselves while simultaneously hiding who they truly are, what they truly think, and what they do.

This is where we find stimulation and anguish between the lovers. The inability to fully know the other person is what truly drives and, at the same time, scares us. When we engage with someone, our desire is to know them, and at some point, we might even believe we do, although there will always be something that remains unknown: who are they when I’m not around?
And then, what happens when we find material evidence (journals, recordings, etc.) revealing the other’s truth? Revealing a side we’ve never imagined? And if the other cannot be confronted to explain themselves? These are the main questions that inspired me to make this film about love and loss: the loss of the beloved, experienced through mourning, and the loss of who we thought our beloved was, experienced through anger. — Aly Muritiba
